We designed these socks to match our line of dark purple and gold striped ties. After careful consideration, we went with slightly smaller 0.5-inch stripes on the socks (versus the 0.75 stripes on our ties). Basically, the stripes looked too wide on our feet when we sampled them in the larger stripe. Please note that due to differences in materials, our socks are designed to coordinate with our dark purple and gold ties but may not be an exact match
